What is a Sweet Dreams Goose Feather & Down Quilt?
The feathers on geese or ducks are the outer covering of the bird. Down lies beneath this protective covering - usually on the belly of a bird - and is light and fluffy. It provides the insulation birds need to keep warm.Down is the soft under plumage (a layer of insulation underneath feathers) that geese, ducks and other waterfowl have to keep them warm and dry. Feathers have hard stiff quills, down does not.
What is 'Tog'?
Tog is a measurement of thermal insulation, with a low number indicating quite a low level of insulation and a high number meaning something that will keep you as warm as toast on even the coldest nights of Winter
